Job Description:

The Vice President of Product Development is responsible for management and oversight for the RCM Product Development division. The position is responsible for strategically driving the development of the road map of products and services offered by the company.  The VP of Product Management is responsible for defining the strategic roadmap and tactically organizing, implementing, and maintaining all of the day-to-day activities required to manage its delivery and service offerings in a manner that efficiently and effectively communicates to our internal stakeholders and clients the estimated timelines, pricing and functionality of such offerings. 

Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the company’s leadership, identify opportunities and risks for delivery, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of obstacles and technical hurdles to achieve business success
  • Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all IntegraConnect RCM products and services
  • Determine and prioritize products and requirements through customer user input, professional experience, competitive analysis, industry contacts and governance boards
  • Translate requirements into detailed design requirements (e.g., epics, features, stories, etc.) and collaborate with operations, development teams, SMEs, customers and advisors
  • Develop and manage a structure to support the growth of the company and its offerings
  • Develop and maintain key alliances with Clients, software vendors and service providers
  • Define the product strategy roadmap to ensure a solid product pipeline that meets client needs and business objectives.
  • Establish supporting processes for development, design, and introduction of new products and services
  • Lead business case analysis for developing and validating new products and services.
  • Lead overall product commercialization process
  • Ensure a highly collaborative working relationship with Engineering leadership and stakeholders
  • Present directly to internal executive leadership product updates and issues

Project Management

  • Establish and maintain an organizational structure to effectively manage the Technical Projects requested internally and externally
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators and benchmarks to track the status and success of the technical project management function
  • Lead, motivate and continually develop the personnel who are responsible for the day-to-day activities within product development, both domestic and global

Product Road Map

  • Communicate vision through the use of roadmaps for all IntegraConnect RCM products and services
  • Provide leadership for idea generation and concept development initiative
  • Collaborate with our clients to align business needs with Integra’s strategies

UI/UX Design

  • Establish and maintain an organizational structure to effectively manage the high volume of user interface, user experience projects
  • Provide overall leadership and strategy to UI/UX team.
  • Provide feedback to Leadership Team to shape the strategic direction of the company
  • Accept responsibility for achieving individual and group-focused goals which are defined, reviewed and re-prioritized throughout the fiscal year.

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years product management leadership experience working in software related environment with a proven track record of measurable business results
  • Demonstrated competency working with stakeholders for gathering technical requirements and translating them into user requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering / Computer Science, or related field required; Graduate level degree preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle management/billing is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency working in an agile and/or related development environment
  • Demonstrated ability to assume sole and independent responsibility for various projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and quantitative skill.  Must then be able to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively.
  • Expertise with one programming language and database is strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a web and/or mobile based application development environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
