Job Description

The Training Specialist will assess department-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives as well as identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees and external customers, including delivery of the training development plan, complete with materials, tutorials, instructions and learning resources, such as online modules and guides. The Training Specialist will be passionate about helping people learn and grow. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate and enhance performance internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute learning strategies and programs
  • Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results
  • Provides technical leadership in LMS by being project lead on LMS development, tracking, upgrades, reporting and enhancements with third party vendor
  • Demonstrates and utilizes effective communication, project management, creativity, and evaluation skills
  • Monitors and manages LMS reporting, training records, learner enrollments, user profiles, certifications, and test scores
  • Works closely with VP of Client Services, Implementation Leads, and Product Support Manager to deliver technology training on the LMS to key areas of business
  • Facilitates the coordination and scheduling of new hire trainings to the department
  • Create and provide customer demonstrations to support organizational growth and business development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of professional clinical Oncology EMR training experience is preferred
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Healthcare experience is preferred
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Experience with learning management systems is a PLUS
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows products especially Excel
