Job Description:

The Senior Interface Analyst will assist in project tasks as part of clinical implementation, including: interface development, data conversion, building system components, testing, compendium maintenance, troubleshooting failed results and documentation of interface specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for and drives the execution of interface development (specifications and data flow diagrams), data conversion, testing and documentation of interface specifications
  • Works independently in completing project tasks and leading the execution
  • Demonstrates proficiency of systems/interfaces and provides guidance to client areas in analyzing issues and development of solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Collects workflow and other relevant information from clients
  • Participates in the development of integration and data conversion processes for each implementation
  • Proven proficiency of the HL7 standard, knowledge on interface engine

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in interface analysis or design; 3 years applicable experience in a Healthcare setting preferred
  • Experience with healthcare industry standard messaging formats (e.g., HL7, FHIR, XML, DSM, ANSI x12)
  • Experience with at least two (2) years programming java / javascript
  • Experience/exposure to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience on at least two (2) major system implementations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to independently interact with internal customers and guide decision making as well as demonstrate critical thinking and follow through when developing solutions to identified issues.
  • Coordinate planning and solutions with other technical teams
  • Preferred Certifications: NextGen Connect (MIRTH)
  • Experience with REST API and Soap methodology
