Job Description:

The Scrum Master is responsible for overseeing the scrum team, scrum processes and scrum meetings. Their efforts motivate the team and increase the team’s efficiency. They argue for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness, while ensuring that acceptance criteria and the DoD (“Definition of Done”) are being followed. The scrum master is the key role managing the scrum team, driving to results and ensuring the timely delivery of high quality outputs.

This position will be associated with Integra Connect’s core data products and services, known as “DTX”. The DTX scrum team oversees Master Data Management, the ingestion and curation of customer data, implementation of data-driven products and services and the development of core data-based products.


• Arrange for daily stand-up meetings, facilitate and schedule meetings, demo and follow local scrum ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective, etc.)
• Assist Product Owner in managing the backlog and aiding team in determining suitable commitments for product backlog items and sprints
• Help balance the prioritization of technical debt against new feature innovation and software delivery
• Create a positive and easy communication channel (team, product owner, stakeholders)
• Protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions and remove impediments
• Address team dynamics, resolve conflict and resource constraints
• Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity and innovation
• Use Jira as a tool to assist scrum team efficiency
• Be a servant leader
• Coach Agile practices to the team


• 2-3 years of Agile delivery experience / recent hands-on experience as a Scrum Master
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified or Professional Scrum Trainer
• Experience working with software development teams with an understanding of software development and software quality disciplines
• Foundational understanding of Scrum and Kanban principles
• Passion for leading Scrum teams to continually improve quality and delivery
• Proficient in agile/scrum development methodology
• Working knowledge of a leading development practices (i.e. RDBMS, TDD, BDD)
• Familiarity with healthcare data, analytics and software systems a plus
