Job Description:

The Salesforce Business Analyst/Project Manager is a critical part of the project team and is responsible for owning and executing delivery of custom solutions that are uniquely tailored to our business division’s needs. Our solutions utilize all areas of the Salesforce.com platform and require the highest quality applications built for scale, efficiency, and a great end user experience. This position builds a trusting relationship with major project stakeholders and leads them through the adoption of the best solution. You will work directly with key business unit stakeholders and end users to gather operational and technical requirements, understand and document stakeholder needs with acceptance criteria, analyze existing configuration, and translate solution design for the administrators and developers. The Salesforce Business Analyst/Project Manager is a blend of business and technical experience and will manage stakeholder satisfaction through excellent project management/leadership skills and articulate communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with end users, stakeholders, and internal resources to analyze requirements, design, and deliver solutions on the Salesforce platform across a wide range of business processes
  • Presents and leads sessions and requirement workshops and works closely with business and IT stakeholders to identify requirements and technical feasibility
  • Complete documentation throughout various stages of the project lifecycle, including documenting business requirements, and functional specifications
  • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to identify requirements and technical feasibility
  • Has sufficient knowledge of the Salesforce platform to make adequate design decisions & propose solutions to requirements based on industry & technology best practices
  • Familiarization with our Salesforce implementations to understand existing configuration in relation to operational processes
  • Managing expectations and communication with key project stakeholders as well as team members throughout the project lifecycle
  • Defines test cases, performs internal testing, and leads user acceptance testing to confirm that solution performs as per the business requirements
  • Coordinates releases and prepares Go-Live materials (e.g. training documentation)
  • Ongoing collaboration with your team to share knowledge, context, and solution ideas.
  • Remaining current on new Salesforce features and functionality
  • Providing recommendations for process improvements, building new functionalities, and rolling out new features
  • Assist in the implementation of the Salesforce program version control process and follow best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing and data integrity

Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfort participating in conversations and working sessions with audiences of all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and work independently and in a team environment with little need for supervision
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with project management best practices in both waterfall and Agile frameworks
  • Ability to manage project activities and strong analytical and logic skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for administrators and developers
  • Self-starter able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Position requires relevant work experience in systems analysis/design and 2+ years of direct Salesforce administration/development experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including but not limited to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud (Salesforce implementation project management experience preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product management and/or product development of software-based solutions
  • Demonstrated understanding of developing applications using Force.com technologies (Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Force.com IDE, Salesforce DX, Web Services API, etc.)
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Internet applications
