Job Description:
The QA Manager will be responsible for implementing quality standards and procedures, identifying potential risks and issues related to product or service quality, meeting compliance requirements, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the Integra Connect Analytics Data Center of Excellence. This includes, but is not limited to, reports, dashboards, data extracts, automated ETL processes and verifying standards are met and ensuring accurate data validation. Individuals in this role will have a background in planning, managing, and performing software testing within the responsibility areas described, accurately translates functional and non-functional requirements to maintainable and appropriate reliable machine executable code.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes coding practices, standards, and oversees governance they are being followed.
- Establishes technical debt remediation and avoidance roadmaps.
- Lead and manage a team of QA professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Develop and implement quality standards and procedures to ensure that all products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance customer satisfaction. Stays abreast of industry-leading software engineering practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, reducing the risk of non-compliance penalties.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of products and services and stay ahead of the competition.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
- Serves as a technical expert on multiple complex applications / products / technologies.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in software engineering and at least 3+ years of experience in a QA Manager role, preferably in a similar industry.
- 4-year degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Mastery with engineering tools (IDEs, social, diagraming, compilation, build, testing).
- Mastery in 3 or more TIOBE-Top-10 programming languages.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Mastery with contemporary engineering process (e.g. agile, scrum, Kanban).
- Up to 10% travel.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, such as ISO, FDA, or GMP.
