Job Description:

Acts as a liaison between Product Management and Engineering in the accurate capture and macro design of software requirements; drives non-functional requirements and macro design in the areas of performance, scalability, resiliency, security, and re-use.


  • Creates, manages, and promotes the long‐term architectural vision and business case for technology roadmaps across the organization
  • Develops a unified architecture that is scalable across the organization and ensures the use of industry and enterprise technology standards and develops roadmap incorporating industry best practices
  • Translates industry technology direction to business value and serves as a key technical advisor to project teams, providing new research and novel approaches
  • Interfaces with the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to ensure the most efficient solution is designed to meet business needs
  • Analyzes systems and processes from end to end, partnering with IT and business colleagues as appropriate
  • Provides guidance and enterprise‐wide influence leading to solutions that are well engineered, operable, maintainable, and delivered on schedule
  • Participates in acquisition due diligence and/or engineers to adopt best practices


  • 15+ years’ experience in software engineering and/or software architecture
  • 4‐year degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Mastery (integrated / multi-media) w/ Microsoft Office products
  • Mastery (proposal, business case, thesis) in Written/Verbal skills
  • Expert w/ 3 or more TIOBE-Top-10 programming languages
  • Experienced in Product Management (having held bookings targets)
  • Mastery (code-level instrumentation) w/ Performance Profiling tools
  • Mastery with negotiation (key business drivers) skills
  • Mastery with public speaking (high production / highly competent audiences)
  • Mastery with business acumen interacting w/ executive core and participating in acquisition due diligence
  • Up to 25% travel
