Job Description:

The Client Advocate role entails working directly with assigned client practices as a liaison between the clinics and the centralized revenue cycle team. The Client Advocate fields issues and escalations addressed by both parties (clinic and Integra RCM) and facilitates the resolution of said concerns through to completion. This individual will also provide communication to the client regarding high level items that may directly impact their business to ensure full transparency.


  • Respond to client escalations regarding issues or inquiries regarding centralized RCM process. Field issues through to resolution
  • Partner with clients to ensure they are up to date on latest RCM processes and any relevant changes
  • Prepare management reports where needed, communicating project status, critical issues, and potential pitfalls
  • Analyze practice level RCM metrics, respond to and communicate any unusual trends, i.e. major fluctuations in cash receipts/deposits, denial percentages, gross charges, NCR, DAR, and increases in outstanding AR
  • Represent RCM, and attend pertinent functions as requested or required


  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Healthcare related field, preferred
  • Two years of medical billing experience required
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple different departments and leaders within RCM and client clinics
  • Working Knowledge of RCM processes as a whole from Eligibility through to final collections
  • Proficient with the Accounts Receivable Billing System and internet tools, (e.g. payer websites, address search engines); Knowledge of HIPAA requirements
