Job Description:

The Business Development Operations Manager is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of programs and initiatives to support operations and business development within Enterprise Sales.  This includes the planning, organizing, leading, and management of all aspects of a program and special initiatives to support business growth working across the enterprise.


  • Manage day to day operations of all Enterprise Sales programs and special initiatives
  • Reduce bottlenecks and create workflow efficiencies through Salesforce automation and optimization across the organization in close coordination with the SalesForce Specialist
  • Support the management of the pipeline and accuracy of reports across stages, from lead generation to close, in partnership with marketing
  • Maintain an enterprise-wide demo and organizational calendar
  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of activities as well as providing accurate and consistent updates to the PMO enterprise dashboard
  • Develop and communicate detailed plans, schedules, program estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports to ensure overall project success
  • Contribute to product development efforts in supporting coordination of advisory activities and product demos
  • Attend client meetings as appropriate as well as conduct the initial qualification of all leads coming in through our website to support new business development opportunities
  • Support requests for information (RFI), requests for proposal (RFPs), proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms conditions of contract
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals
  • Represent organization at selected conferences and assist in planning and execution at strategic sessions
  • Play a consistent role in identifying new business opportunities
  • Demonstrate understanding of business intelligence strategies and solutions
  • Translate business needs into written and technical requirements with succinct and accurate notes as well as follow up


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Experience with client interaction required
  • Experience with program management techniques and tools
  • 3+ years program management experience preferred
  • 3+ years healthcare industry experience required
  • Ability to solve issues quickly and effectively through a methodical, systematic approach
  • Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working and business relationships
  • Organizes large amounts of information by creating well organized systems; translates strategies into step by step plans for action
  • Ability to effectively manage and guide group efforts; providing feedback concerning group progress
  • Ability to listen, gather information, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing; adapts communication style to audience
