Job Description:

The Billing Office Supervisor is responsible for supervising, training, orienting, and evaluating billing office staff while monitoring daily activities. The Billing Office Supervisor is also responsible for creating and executing financial policies and strategic plans for Integra Connect.

This is a hybrid role located in Richmond, VA**


  • Provides leadership in developing, planning, and implementing financial policies and financial strategic plans for the billing office.
  • Provides hands-on leadership and mentoring for the development of the billing office staff; manages the training, orientation, and supervision of the billing office staff.
  • Supervises, trains, orients, and evaluates performance over assigned personnel; recommends merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitors daily operating activity of the billing office and makes necessary adjustments in work assignments.
  • Works well with staff members; creates a climate of open communication; effectively gains acceptance and cooperation from employees; values individual differences; withholds judgment.
  • Effectively monitors the progress of work; stays on schedule, manages extra time demands in stride.
  • Reviews status of patient accounts to identify and resolve billing and processing problems in a timely manner.
  • Reviews the performance of the business office and ensures compliance with government, insurance and third-party payer regulations.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and promote Company mission and values.


  • Strong drive and work ethic with the ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years in a health-related field preferred.
