Job Description:

The Billing/Reporting Administrator provides oversight, support, and maintenance for the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Accounts Receivable Billing System. This role is responsible for the developing system configuration reports to ensure that maximum efficiencies, automation, and business logic are gained through utilizing the latest system features.


  • Prepare management reports communicating, project status, critical issues, and potential pitfalls
  • Develop and sustain excellent working relationships with client professionals (e.g., Operations, Business Development, IT and Finance), as well as with the Company’s clients, payers, consultants, banks and financial intermediaries and government agencies
  • Create, optimize, and utilize multiple sets of data and apply strong data mining, data processing, and data analyses skills to generate insights to drive business initiatives within various levels of the organization
  • Perform ad hoc analyses on a regular basis, assist in special projects, support recurring reporting for leadership and identify opportunities for process improvements throughout the organization
  • Facilitate training/development sessions with Senior staff to develop new reports/innovations
  • Query large databases and manipulate large data files
  • Develop and execute on multiple project plans regarding new client business implementations, and special other special projects
  • Manage the file maintenance tables process and ensure proper set up for smooth billing processes, (e.g., charge/fee schedules, collection plans, contracts, divisions, insurances, lines of business and other business rules)
  • Maintain current expertise with all revenue system-related tools, (e.g., clearinghouse software, eligibility databases and internally developed Access, Monarch, or similar report models)


  • High School diploma or GED required; Associates Degree from a technical program in computer-related field preferred
  • Experience with modern relational databases for ad hoc analyses
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with data manipulation tools
  • Knowledge of analytical programming languages (SQL/VBA) and data visualization tools (Access)
  • Experience with data manipulation tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, ODBC Connections, SQL, and Visual Basic scripting
  • Experience in healthcare billing environment
