Job Description:

This position will be responsible for supporting product and project management functions associated with the creation of an end to end solution (people, process, and technology) to address the cost and quality of care delivered by specialty care practices, including oncology, urology, rheumatology, etc. Responsibilities include the development, documentation and prioritizing business requirements and collaborating with customers and other stakeholders to ensure products that are valuable, usable and feasible. Will work with Product, Project, Sales, Marketing, Training, and software development teams to align product road maps with product introduction, implementation, sales and marketing strategies.


  • Responsible for developing requirements and specifications that support agile software development for clinical research, population health, and reporting application Product teams
  • Develop business requirement documentation, high level user stories, and epics which capture business intent
  • Create detailed acceptance criteria for user stories – working with end users, product owners and development team – ensuring that all aspects are considered
  • Support backlog product issue and enhancement grooming sessions through coordination of agile team, product owner and end users
  • Assist with defining non-functional requirements
  • Assist with development and test activities during sprint activities; supporting team members as needed in order to accomplish sprint objectives
  • Coach others in the modeling/mapping of business processes, conduct as-is and to-be business processes, including authoring workflow diagrams, wire-frames, storyboards, and other artifacts required to support the software function specification requirements and design
  • Maintains the necessary controls and procedures to protect information assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction
  • Analyze alignment of proposals to business strategies
  • Write and present business cases
  • Ensure project continues to align with project charter and business cases
  • Develop test case scenarios and test cases for use in system and during integration testing
  • Participates in or conducts end user training including development of user guides and reference materials
  • Report status and issues to the Product Manager(s) and Owner(s)
  • Develop and improve the discipline of business analysis and information systems design


  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Sciences, Business or related work experience/certification
  • 3+ years of relevant general Information Technology experience required
  • International Institute of Business Analyst Certification preferred
