Job Description:

Integra Connect has accomplished significant growth in all areas of our business, and with the goal of being the recognized leader in our industry, we must focus on the scale and growth of our business to meet our customer’s needs, in the Oncology software space.


In order to keep up with that growth, we are seeking a driven and creative technical writer that will gather, disseminate, develop, and prepare information from product staff, designers, and developers in the form of user-friendly product documentation.  This will include user how-to guides, on-boarding guides, developer help files, in-platform instructions, installation/configuration instructions, release notes, and other supporting documents to communicate complex technical information to both internal and external users, clearly and easily.


To succeed in this role, the candidate will need to be an expert at writing for both technical and non-technical audiences. They will also be responsible for continuously editing, revising, and maintaining the content to ensure users have the best possible experience with updated products.


  • Create (write) or assist in creating content to publish monthly
    • Release Notes (new features & updates, bugs & fixes)
      • Write or assist in the writing, updating, and publishing of monthly technical literature about new features and changes to internal and external stakeholders with information on product updates, releases and fixes.
    • Educational Materials (user how-to guides, on-boarding guides, internal in-platform installation/configuration instructions, FAQs, and other supporting documents
  • Collaborate to gather pertinent information
    • Collaborate with product management, developers, QA, customer support, marketing, UX to gather pertinent information and/or graphics to complete electronic and printed documentation in a professional manner.
  • Interpret and translate software features
    • Interpret specialized software features and functions into clear, user-friendly, process-driven materials that promote the use and administration of the software.
    • Make sure the content is both engaging and accessible to user personas with both non-technical and technical backgrounds.
  • Test products to gain insight, ensuring clear documentation
    • Test products for issues, provide insight to resolving problems and ensure documentation is accurate and consistent.
  • Analyze and edit current content to unify style and ensure clarity
    • Analyze and edit other writers’ content and documentation for consistency and continuously update content with current information to maintain continuity of style.


  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in experience in English, Communication, Journalism, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Writing, Teaching, Curriculum Development or Scientific Publication.
  • Proven 3-5 years of experience working in a technical writing position.
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics, in explanatory and procedural styles, to non-technical stakeholders and audiences, both internally and externally.
  • Familiarity with agile software development environment and open to fluctuating schedules.
  • Ability to manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously.
